Shared Shutter
Whoever takes the picture, everyone gets it.
Shared Shutter is a camera for families. Make an album, invite everyone with a message, and the photos and videos you choose to share land on every member's phone.

Getting started
- Sign-in uses the iCloud account already on your iPhone. There is no account to create.
- Make an album with the + button, then tap the dashed + under its name to invite people by Messages, Mail or a link.
- Take photos with the camera button. Your shots go to your camera roll, as with the Camera app, and wait in the tray until you choose which to share.
- Share: open the tray, keep what you want selected, and tap Share. Everyone in the album gets them.
Common questions
Whose iCloud storage do photos use? An album's photos are stored in the iCloud account of the person who created it. If their iCloud storage is full, new photos wait until there's space.
Do photos save to my Photos library? Yours do. For other people's, open the album's ⋯ menu, tap Save to Photos and turn on the people whose photos you want: theirs then save into an album with the same name in Photos as they arrive.
How do I leave an album or remove someone? Open the album, tap ⋯, then People. The person who made the album can remove anyone; anyone can leave.
Deleting a photo removes it from the album on every phone. Copies already saved to Photos stay there.
